The idea seemed perfect in my head – a powerful flowing wave. But then reality set in.
The colors didn’t blend right, the shape seemed off and no matter how iI tried to fix it, the wave just didn’t look the way I envisioned.I felt a wave of frustration rising in me – ironically enough. The moment when your idea slips through your fingers, and no amount of tweaking can bring it back. So I started to cover the wave with simple blue.
In the end, the canvas was no longer what I origianlly intended, but became somtheing diffrent, something that had its own value.
It’s about letting go, starting over and seeing where the process takes you. Not every piece needs to be a masterpiece. The wave didn’t turn out, but it taugt me something important: art ist much about the mistakes as it is about the successes…. and remember: painting over isn’t a failure – it’s part of a process.
