This original oil painting ‘Feels Like a Dream’ ( 40 x 30 cm) is created on high-quality 430 g/m² linen canvas, carefully stretched by hand over sturdy 4.5 cm wide wooden stretcher bars. The painting extends around the edges, giving it a finished look that can be displayed without an additional frame.
The artwork is sealed with a retouching varnish to enhance the colors and provide a protective finish.
The painting is ready to hang, with hanging hardware attached to the back. It is signed on the back and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The Journey Behind the Painting
Every painting starts with a feeling.
But this one began a little earlier than the first brushstroke.
Before the colours found their way onto the canvas, I carefully chose the wood, decided on the depth of the frame and stretched the canvas myself, securing it by hand. From the very first step, I wanted to create something that felt truly my own.
Building the canvas
Putting the stretcher frame together and stretching the linen by hand.
First lines
A light pencil sketch sets the horizon, then a thin warm underpainting gives the whole canvas its glow.
The sky takes shape
Layer by layer the clouds build up in violet, rose and soft orange.
The sea arrives
The water, waves and foam slowly bring the whole scene to life.
Close to the details
Adding the last fine brushstrokes.
Finished
Varnished, signed on the back and ready for its new home.
